You guys. This session is a good one. And I mean a GOOD one! (You know when you taste that pot of chili in the winter and it beats all the other chili’s because it has that little something extra?) That’s how I feel about this session. Not only was the weather absolutely impeccable, they were just the sweetest couple that gladly followed my excited gibberish during their session. I had the most amazing opportunity to photograph Stephen and Melissa and I have to say, they are two of the most in love people I’ve ever met and so willing to let me mold and shape them! They brought their precious puppy, Retta and she was so energetic and full of life! I say that because ya’ll know me and pups……cue squeal!! I even squealed over a little family of dachshunds we saw in the park! I got the opportunity to visit Bok Tower Gardens again and this time, we explored the on-property estate which was just gorgeous! I had been chomping at the bit to photograph that part of the park, haha! Well, it proved just as beautiful as I had hoped, made only more lovely by the couple and their pup who radiated such joy and love. Enjoy this gorgeous gallery!

Season of Surrender | An Artisan Film Story

This story speaks volumes about who I am inherently and season of life I am in right now. The longer I live, I learn that when authors pen a story, some part of that story reflects themselves. Whether Tolkien dreamed of being an unlikely hero like Bilbo Baggins or Frodo Baggins, an unwavering devoted friend like Samwise Gamgee, or perhaps he revealed himself to struggle with power and greed like Smeagol turned Gollum, I think we’ll never fully know. But I do know that this visual story tells so much of myself. It tells of the next stepping stone in my business journey, and it tells of the physical seasons changing. It makes me so thrilled for what’s to come and incites excitement for me in this new direction.
